Wyatt Blair- Banana Cream Dream LP.  Wyatt Blair’s Banana Cream Dream is the best rock n’ roll record to seep out of Southern California in years. It’s infectious, lighthearted and fun with that rare ability to shake you wide awake with its own contagious energy. “Sweet Operator (Talkin’ On The Telephone)” has a kind of hard glam vibe that brings to mind the Sweet and some of the more potent elements of the Equals. There also a current of power pop running through these grooves that brings to mind bands like the Beat and the Nerves. “Girls!” was a standout on it’s own on Burger Records heartwarming Kitty Comp and now it’s a fully formed earworm that will have you struggling to keep quiet as this song bops along in your head. “Ba Ba Ba (Life’s a Bitch)” should rightfully be the a side on a killer 45, but fits in nicely with the 9 other banger on this killer LP. Don’t let the kinda corny lookin cover art fool ya, there’s some really good songs on this one!

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
