V/A- Into The Voodoo LP.  Pretty cool three-way Horror Punk split here between three bands I’ve never heard before: Creepersin, the Jim Parsons Project and the Bad Whoremoans. All three bands contribute four songs each. The Jim Parsons Project kick things off and whip up a traditional take on the genre with their four songs falling somewhere between the Misfits, Samhain and Plan 9. The vocals have a brooding Danzig howl and there’s somerious guitar shredding in a few tracks. Next up are the Bad Whoremoans from New Jersey and they offer up the most poppy take on the genre. The Bad Whoremoans have deeper roots in the Horror Punk scene as the band includes Paul Mauled from the old New Jersey band the Undead. So naturally there are hints of the Misfits/Undead earieness in the mix with the lyrical themes being darker, but their music is still pretty poppy and melodic. Almost sounds like the Descendents or All covering the Undead. The leads are more upbeat and poppy and the vocals aren’t to angry so they carry a melody while they sing ‘I Wanna Cut You Up’. If you remember the Spooky, from Long Beach, these guys sound like a poppy punk version of them. Closing out the LP is Creepersin and they take Horror Punk in a more Rock ‘n Roll direction. With bigger riffs and a more hard rockin’ approach they rely on meaner riffs to get their message across. Sounding a little like Danzig (the band), by mixing punk touches with balls out heavy rock ‘n roll they get the job done with a heavy metallic riff attack. They remind me a bit of Frankenstein Drag Queens From Planet 13 who made some rockin’ horror punk waves in the mid to late 90’s. These are LIMITED TO 500 HAND NUMBERED COPIES ON RED VINYL, they include an insert and some cool creeptacular cover art by Paul Mauled. This limited bundle also include an UNCOMMON INTERESTS EMBROIDERED PATCH, which is the record label that released this LP.

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
