Eroding from the underbelly of Long Beach comes the latest effort from the garage rock demons The Thingz. ‘Red Future’ is a whopping full length packed with 11 songs of snarky Garage Punk fun that brings to mind bands like the Rip Offs, The Drags, The Motards with a little bit of Lazy Cowgirls twang. Most songs clock in at a Ramones-y two minutes or less and the songs are catchy and memorable. This LP is pretty hard to find. It was self released by the band and they only pressed 200 COPES and hand and-stenciled the covers! 1 per order on these.
