The Thing- Collected Works (1986 - 1991) 2xCD.  For roughly an eight year period, The Thing slogged around the NY area, playing in dingy clubs and putting out a handful of records that combined a love of Hawkwind and 70's era space/psych rock with a grungy noise rock assault. It's an eccentric sound that sort of resembles the missing link between the high-power stoner rock of Monster Magnet and the sleazy, amp-blowing noise skuzz of Lower East Side contemporaries like Pussy Galore, Soul Crusher-era White Zombie, Unsane, and Live Skull. The Thing guitarist Sal Canzonieri,  would later go on to form Electric Frankenstein while still a member of The Thing but as as Electric Frankenstein started to take off Sal  would ultimately end The Thing. This double CD collection includes 3 dozen songs recorded from 1986 - 1991 including the 'Six Sick Songs' Cassette Only EP  Release in 1988, both Noiseville 7"'s, the 'From Another World' Album from 1990, the BBC John Peel Sessions from 1991 as well as a 7 song unreleased EP from1989 and 2 songs from an unreleased EP from 1991.  36 Tracks in all.

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
