Sick Times/No Mistake- Split 7".  Sick Times continues to impress on their new split with No Mistake. I could hear some heavy incfluences from Black Flag and the Circle Jerks on prior releases. On their new split theirs still a bit of that present, but I hear more leanings towards mid-paced, brutal and tuff Poison Idea -ish hardcore. On the flip, No Mistake, contain Mike Bullshit from the illustirous NY powerhouse GO! These guys tear through 6 short and fast hardcore songs in the vein of classic American HC bands like Negative Approach, SSD, Uniform Choice, Youth of Today and Minor Threat. These are hand numbered out of 500 copies.  Import from France.

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
