Retraseres- Grandes Exitos Vol. 3 LP.  Across fourteen songs, Retraseres channels the spitting snarl of Wau Y Los Arrrghs and the fuck-all attitude of The Mummies. What they lack in originality, they totally make up for in sheer exuberance because there isn’t a dull moment on this LP. They want to make it clear that “boring” is not in their vocabulary (and neither is “slow,” “subtle,” or “restrained”). As a three-piece, the bass often sits up front—especially on “Ebola,” “Samuruc,” and “China y Japón”—making the music raucous, manic and super catchy. One of the better new bands I’ve heard recently that you don’t hear to many people talking about. And the awesome looking batshit cover art by Jorge Parras immediately grabbed my attention. It’s a visual orgy of violence, debauchery, and chaos and works on so many level. Recommended.

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
