Quivers- Nice To Meet You CD. Now this is some pretty mean and uptempo garage punk that I can get behind. The Quivers are a three piece from Canada and belt out rapid fire Punk Rock songs with an almost hardcore delivery. Fast and too the point, kinda like if the Reatards were fronted by a powerful female lead screamer who isn’t affraid to shred her vocal chords. These songs are brut, ragin’ and get a little angular at times without coming off to “arty”. They’d fit nicely on a bill with Amyl and The Sniffers. Solid debut. Import from Canada.
