Pamela Des Barres / Dehumanizers - Split 7”. This is a reissue of this classic split that has been out of print for years. The Dehumanizers have teamed up with legendary groupie & original GTO's member Pamela Des Barres for this seven inch treat. Ms. Des Barres is, of course, the celebrated rock ‘n roll groupie of the ‘60s and ‘70s whose 1987 memoir, “I’m with the Band”, set the bar pretty high for groupie life as it is today. On her side Pamela's vocal narration details the journeys she been on, recounting her life in the 60's leading up to where she is now. And The Dehumanizers fire back with another historical song. In the 1980's they delivered "Kill Lou Guzzo" which led to an astronomical lawsuit in which they defeated commentator Lou Guzzo, KIRO Television, and brought light to the unfair teen-dance ordinance in Seattle in the 80’s. This time, they're presenting a musical history passage from a time and place that helped pave the way towards the birth of punk rock on their side of the split with the song "Miss P". This reissue includes different cover artwork from the original pressing and also includes an insert.
