Nervebreakers- We Want Everything LP. Hailing from Dallas, TX, the Nervebreakers first got together in 1973 but didn’t take off until the mid-’70s punk movement started to affect most larger urban areas of the US. The Nervebreakers quickly rose to the top of the pack in Dallas releasing three singles which are now hard to find. This LP was recorded in 1980 and was to have been their debut LP even thought it was released years later. This is Texas punk from the first wave at it’s best. Catchy tunes, powerful guitar leads and sound that all comes together behind Thom (Tex) Edwards sneering vocals. Their version of ‘Strange Movies’ beats the original Troggs version by a long shot. Pressed on beefy 180 gram wax.
