Medicine- The Buried Live 2xLP.  Once upon time, codeine cough syrup sold over the counter, Quaaludes on the black market and kids like me stared at our bedroom ceilings with “Shoegaze” on the tape deck to match the apocalyptic grandeur of our emotions. Psychedelic pop met industrial noise and gave us the romantic nihilism of Medicine. Now the ‘90s obsessives at Captured Tracks are giving Medicine their due with reissues of the band’s first two albums, and The Buried Life is definately the pick of the two. This is definately their best work to date. You will never hear another band use a guitar in this manner. Brad Laner likes to crank the treble all the way up and leave the vocals as the sole source of midrange. The noisy guitar sounds in the backround are kept together by Beth and Brad's harmonies. A worthy DOUBLE LP REISSUE here housed in a Gatefold jacket with nice liner notes.

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
