Máscaras- Mascara vs Mascara LP.  If you’ve ever seen Portlands Máscaras live, you’re familiar with the fierce kinetic language of their instrumentation. Through their notoriously impressive live performances, Máscaras earned themselves a No. 3 slot in Willamette Week’s Best New Band series, without even having any recorded material under their belt...until now!  Máscaras’ debut album combines bandmates Carlos Segovia’s whizz-bang acid-fried guitar work with Papi Fimbres’ explosive and fast as hell drumming that’s not so much focused on finesse as building frenetic tidal waves of pounding kick drum and cymbal mutilation. While it’s hard to pick favorites on Máscara vs. Máscara, there are definately a few standout tracks. “Desert Masks” and “City in Ruins” are all around mind-warping and explosive, yet inescapably groove-able. And “Animal Prince” is by far the best reinvention of surf psych to come out of Portland in years.

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
