Maniac- Chola Queen 7".  For the uninitiated Maniac features singer/bassist Zache Davis (Cute Lepers, The Girls) along side Andrew Zappin, Justin Maurer, and James Carman (all currently in the great L.A. Drugz). This new single is an absolute crackler. Maniac takes that '77 punk/powerpop thing I'm so into and totally makes it their own, infusing frenetic, new wavey guitars and pushing tempos that will leave you breathless. Few other bands could cover '70s Swedish pop star Harpo and make it sound like one of their originals. "Chola Queen" is a scorching reinterpretation of Harpo's 1974 single "My Teenage Queen". It’s the perfect introduction to what Maniac are all about. It's pure energy from the jump, propelled by super-punchy guitars and Carman's exuberant drumming. If you're having a bad day and need a quick jolt of awesome, this song will definitely do the trick.  THIS IS THE SUPER LIMITED CLEAR ACETATE COVER VERSION OF THIS 7" LIMITED TO 30 COPIES!  Import form the UK.

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
