LONG KNIFE- Wilderness LP.  Our good friends over at Feral Ward know a thing or two about putting out great records and Long Knife is the latest in a long line of stellar releases. Hailing from Portland, OR, Long Knife pays homage to perhaps the most important band to emerge from the punk community there: Poison Idea. Whereas other bands have attempted to capture the intensity and nihilism of Poison Idea and, most often, failed, Long Knife comes the closest to matching Poison Idea's intensity and fury. Long Knife draws heavily from the "Feel The Darkness" and "War All The Time"-era Poison Idea and while the Poison Idea influences are there all the way, including the Jerry A-inspired vocals, Long Knife also incorporate bits of melodic punk and even a touch of D-beat into their sound. Highly recommended!

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
