James McCann’s Dirty Skirt Band- Bound For The Blues  LP.  Based in Melbourne, the Dirty Skirt Band is lead by, James McCann, one of the founding members of the australian well-known exports: the Drones.  James McCann whips music like the dog it is, forces it to submit, and makes it do his bidding. With songs wrapped around his little finger and trapped under his thumb he manages to both scream bloody murder and break hearts in the same song.  “Bound For The Blues” is the fourth James McCann’s album and it’s his rawest and loudest album yet. The nine tracks are simply pure golden pearls of perfect songwriting that sometimes remind me of The Drones, The Scientists and The Stooges. The songs are all intense and even the coolest ballads explode into the most sonic and wildest fuzzy wha-wha swamp rock you’ve ever heard. This is a true masterpiece.

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
