Fourtune Tellers / X-Ray Harpoons- Split 7”.  Great pairing of German and Swedish garage rock bands on this split 7”. First up are Germany’s X-Ray Harpoons who belt out a really fine tune with merciless sawtooth fuzz and squeaking Farfisa action that's a real treat if you’re a fan of the Fuzz cult, bone-chain, voodoo charm of the Fuzztones. They’re a relatively young band, but sit nicely alongside veterans like the Satelliters in terms of absolute German garage rock elite. On the Flip, Sweden’s Fourtune Tellers are a bit more light-footed and focus on the major chord jangle sounds of early Byrds and you can tell they haven’t forgot about fellow Scandinavian garage giants the Maharajas. Ya this one’ll find its way onto my turntable again and again as both of these songs are very strong. THESE ARE ON THE LIMITED TRANSPARENT PURPLE WAX!  Import from Germany.

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
