Final Conflict- In The Family 7”. While a plethora of acts shared the name, the Midwestern, U.S.A.'s Final Conflict towers mightly above the rest, despite only having released one four-song 7". Powerful and aggro hardcore similar to contemporaries like Negative Approach, the State or Mecht Mensch, this 7" was recorded in 1983 and recorded at Blackberry Way by Steve Fjelsted and produced by Bob Mould of Husker Du. In the Family sounds like Cows And Beers-era Die Kreuzen mixed with United Mutation all sung by a tougher-sounding Rebel Truth vocalist. Really good shit here.
