Fang / Potbelly- Split 7”. Legendary Berkeley, California punk/hardcore band, Fang, formed in the early 1980s. The band broke up in 1989 when Sam McBride AKA Sammytown was sent to prison and reformed in the mid 90's upon his release. This single includes two Fang tracks that were recorded after he was released from prison and sound like a nice amalgamation of the Germs, Fear and Flipper. On the flip, Potbelly, are a hardcore punk band from Whidbey Island, WA who formed in 1995. They tear through 3 songs in the vein of the Accused, DI and the Dwarves.
