Euroboys- 1999 Man CD.  This is an early release from Euroboy of Turbonegro’s other band that he played in when he wasn't playing in Turbonegro. ‘1999 Man’ is quite a departure from the Euroboys previous release, “Long Day's Flight 'Till Tomorrow”. While that full-length album was mostly instrumentals, only one of the songs on this CD is an instrumental. And while “Flight” offered an intriguing blend of Henry Mancini-ish lounge music and '60s pop-rock, ‘1999 Man’ favor a tougher and grittier approach to '60s and early '70s rock that will appeal more to Turbonegro fans. ‘Party Animal’ and ‘1999 Man’ are both Kinks-like rockers and are much more forceful than anything on “Flight”. Andn although ‘Witchfinder’ (the CD's only instrumental) has some Mancini-ish appeal, it's harder and more distorted than any of “Flight”'s instrumentals. The disc's most subdued offering is the moody, psychedelic-influenced rocker called "Ballad of Kirk and the Jerks" and outside of that “1999 Man” is a hardrockin' effort that no one was expecting after “Flight”.  Fun disc.

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
