Defekt Defekt- ‘79 - ‘81 LP.  Second full-length from this killer post punk fused punk rock band featuring members of the Shakin Nasties, M.O.T.O., Cross Stitched Eyes and the Cool Jerks.  First of all the sound on the album is great.  It’s got a big, bold and beefy sound complimented by great songwriting, so congratulations to whoever produced it!  The albums title, “‘79 - ‘81”, should give you an idea of the punk rock time period these guys are interested in as their influences range from Wire to Gang Of Four to Mission Of Burma to the Clash, Adverts and the Boys.  There are plenty of killer tracks on this album but my fave is ‘Claustrophobia’ that reminds me a lot of side 2 of The Stranglers- Black And White LP.  Import from the UK.

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
