Broken Water- Wrought 45’s And Seaside 2009 - 2015 DOUBLE LP.  Very cool double LP set here from Olympia, Washington favorites BROKEN WATER. The First LP contains thew new LP Wrought which is a nice follow up to 2012's widely-praised Tempest. It was recorded and mixed with STEVE FISK (Nirvana, Soundgarden) and features a mix of noisy, fuzzed-out guitars and melodic vocals and a guest appearance from LORI GOLDSTON (EARTH) on cello. The second LP is a reissue and includes the songs from Broken Water’s ‘Boyfriend Hole / Mother’ 7" (2009), ‘Normal Never Happened’ 7" (2010) and ‘Seaside’ 12" (2012). 400 of these were pressed on black wax.

The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock.
