Bobkat 65- This Lonely Road LP.  Bobkat ’65 are a potent reminder that innovative rock ‘n roll bands can come from any corner of the world. Hailing from the northern Spanish province of Asturias, Bobkat ‘65 have that magical combination of great hooks, raw production and pure talent. It’s always great to hear a new band from the other side of the world do their take on 60’s garage rock and Bobkat ‘65 do it better than most. The album’s unifying themes center around loneliness and desperation and the songs range in style from upbeat moody ballads to beat-pounding, punk-tinged rants influenced by well-known ’60s Garage bands like The Dovers, Billy & The Kids, The Nightcrawlers, and Thursday’s Children and all delivered with BOBKAT’65’s unique take on garage rock. An all-around sizzlin’ slab from a band I can’t get enough of. Recommended.

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
