Atomic Suplex- 14 Inches Of Fist LP. Finally, the newest record from London’s finest purveyors of scuzzed out filthy garage punk has landed with Atomic Suplex puking out fourteen blistering tracks of scorching bar-room riot rock. There is no way to accurately describe Atomic Suplex, though many have tried: rock and roll mayhem... loud, raucous, trashy, punky, rock and roll, it’s all here. Kinda like a cross between Guitar Wolf and the Oblivions on mescaline. Atomic Suplex are one of the best live bands you will ever see. Screaming guitars, brutal, primal drumming and a fuzz fucked bass player cutting through it all. Half of the band look like they’re being electrocuted on stage and Atomic Suplex himself represents in his fringed leather jacket, flying V guitar in hand and face covered by a miked-up motorcycle helmet through which he sings. They’re absolutely mesmerizing live and they capture that insanity perfectly on this LP. Their debut album on Crypt Records records is killer and this burly 14 songer is even better. Recommended. Import from the UK.
