Acme Attractions- Terelene Boys CD. Acme Attractions are a UK Punk band, formed in the Luton area in 1976 and released two 7”’s before changing their name a few years later. This archival release is a collection that includes the songs from both their debut 7” released on A-Trax Records and the second 7” recorded with Bonnie Parker two years later on Victoria. On top of the songs from their two 7”’s they add a slew of unreleased demo recordings that the band was planning to eventually re-record for release along with select live tracks. 24 tracks in all recorded at various stages of the bands existence from 1977 - '81. Acme Attractions bring a unique snapshot of the first wave Luton Punk scene showing echos of what was happening around them in the Sex Pistols, the Damned and the Clash with undercurrents of the Who and Mott the Hoople. Near the end of 1981 the band would change their name to Pressure and got signed to Anagram Records releasing their debut 12” in 1982. Import from the UK.
