V/A- US vs UK 7" ~RARE BROWN MARBLE WAX W/ HIP PRIESTS, KILLER HEARTS!
V/A- US vs UK 7". Transcontinental 4 way split here between two bands from the US and two bands from the UK including the Hip Priests, Flash House, Hell’s Engine and the Killer Hearts. Gonna be pretty hard to beat the big swinging balls of the UK’s the Hip Priests as they belt out an absolutely scorching new tune call ‘Dead By Sunday’. First time hearing London’s Flash House which sound like a cross between mid-paced Zeke and Nashville Pussy with Jeff Clayton from Antiseen singing. On the flip you get two bands from around the Houston area. First up are Hell’s Engine who are back after dominating my turntable with their killer split with Electric Frankenstein. On this 4 way they fire off a total burner call ‘Lights Out’. Backing them are the Killer Hearts who contain ex members Texas Terri + The Stiff Ones and the Wrong Ones and they tear through a tune called ‘Buried In Leather’ in the vein of fellow guitar warriors like Kiss, AC/DC and Thin Lizzy. After the first listen, I’m going with the Hip Priests, but all four these bands contribute very worthy tracks. Solid 4-way all around. THESE ARE PRESSED ON 3 DIFFERENT COLORS OF WAX: CLASSIC BLACK WAX, HOT PINK WAX AND BROWN MARBLE WAX! THIS IS THE LIMITED VERSION ON BROWN MARBLE WAX!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
