Touch Me Nots/Red Rockets- Split 7”.  Red Rockets hail from the Provo, UT and kick up a nice amount of scuzz. They play with the fierocity of a punk band and pick at the skeleton of raw trashy rock ‘n roll. Reminded me a bit of the old Crypt band the Dirtys playing fuzzy medium-fi raw ass rock ‘m roll with a strong vocal presence and some pretty solid hooks. On the flip the Touch-Me-Nots have the balls to not only write a song called "Life of Crime" but also make it a really good one. The more I listen these guys the more I think their songwriting reminds me of Greg Cartwright’s by showing a real knack for penning classic sounding songs without being redundant. This is one the Touch Me Nots best tunes coming with a large portion of hot guitar licks and by the time Kelly’s chorus kicks in, it just totally seals the deal. They follow it up with a killer cover of Jonathan Richman’s ‘This Kind Of Music’ and the 7” includes a cool pull out insert.

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
