Thee Boas- Word 1 LP.  Listen to the first couple of cuts from Thee Boas debut album and it sounds like you've uncovered yet another nuevo-garage rock band with an extra shot of punk rock attitude. But as the album goes on and after a few more listens you realize these kids have a bit more up their sleeves -- from the tres-wasted psychedelia of "Hippies," to the creepy blues crawl of "Time" and "Vampire," and the free-form dementia of "Fire" proves these guys have been absorbing their influences from a number of less than wholesome sources. They remind me a bit of the Dwarves pre-Blood Guts & Pussy period, namely the ‘Horror Stories’ era when they were on Voxx Records and the songs were still pretty biting and heavy, but played from more of a garage rock perspective with some reverby psychadelic tinges throughout. A dirty, dangerous, and just plain unhealthy journey that’s pretty much the perfect combination for a rock ‘n roll band in my book. Recommended.  THESE ARE PRESSED ON THE LIMITED WHITE WAX AND ARE ON SUPER THICK 180 GRAM VINYL!  Import from Spain.

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
