The Thingz- Troubles Begin LP. The Thingz are a Long Beach who’s been jamming around since the late 90’s.  These guys are definately coming from the Billy Childish, Headcoatees lineage of Garage rock where simple is more and the trebley riffs reign supreme.  At times you can also hear flashes of New Mexico’s The Drags playing fiery full throttle Garage Rock with a snotty Punk Rock snear and dueling male/females vocals.  The mid-fi recording really help carry the tunes, so the songs don’t sound to raw with the chunky guitars and vox planted firmly at the front of the mix.  Fans of the Tina Lucchesi (Midnite Snaxxx, The Bobbyteens, Deadly Weapons, Trashwomen) school of Rock ‘n Roll will dig.  This one is self released by the band and includes an insert lyrics sheet.

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
