The Cry!/The Connection- Split 7".  It's no big secret that The Cry! are one of my favorite bands right now specializing in everything from straight up Rock 'n' Roll to infectious Power Pop. With influences like The Boys, The Ramones, The Plimsouls and The Stones, the band has re-crafted the 2 min. pop song for a new generation. On their side, the CRY! effortlessly merge 50's style vocal harmonies with the glam-rock attitude of the 70's on their new jam "Discotheque". They back it up with a killer Boys cover. The vocal harmonies on both of these tracks are so on-point. The Connection had to come strong to pull their weight here and thankfully they do deliver. This band is just total class all the way. "She's Gonna Leave You" is another perfect shot of post British Invasion power pop followed by a spot-on cover of the Myddle Class/Blues Project garage standard "Don't Let Me Sleep Too Long" from 1966. Highly recommended. THIS IS THE LIMITED JAPANESE PRESSING OF THIS SINGLE AND INCLUDES THE HARDER TO FIND COVER ART WHICH DIFFERS FROM THE STANDARD US VERSION!

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
