The Artist Formally Known As Vince Band- S/T 7”. Really don’t know to much about these guys. Pretty cool early NYC punk influenced rock ‘n roll from Chicago. The A-side has a Dolls/Thunders seedy rock ‘n roll jammer with a big guitar crunch and some red hot licks. The B-side has a more punked out barrio rocker ala Dead Boys meets Heartbreakers meets Dictators slugger with a pretty jammin’ guitar solo near the end. Kinda reminded me of some of the harder Mullens songs. They travelled to NYC to record this single as it was recorded and produced by Ivan Julian of Richard Hell & The Voidoids on the lower east side. Includes a download card.
