Talkies- Never Fear 7”.  It’s safe to say these Bay Area power poppers have more than a few Beserkley Records (Rubinoos, Modern Lovers, Jonathan Richman) gems in their collective collections. You probably know frontman Ray Seraphin from his uber rockin glam band Glitz. His new band Talkies is a totally buzzin’ four-piece that takes you back to the slick guitar-driven power pop days when bands like The Rubinoos, Shoes and The Nerves ruled the scene. This new two songer has all sorts of nifty guitar licks with mighty shredtastic solos build around some gloriously shimmering harmonies. Smooth sounding single here recorded by Terry Six of the Exploding Hearts and Terry & Louie. Nice looking screen printed 7” covers on these as well. Import from Canada.

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
