Sweet Things- Love To Leave 7”.  Wow killer single from this new band from New York City. You can tell the Sweet Things love The Rolling Stones, New York Dolls and all the good things affiliated with seedy, gutter-dwelling rock’n’roll! The Sweet Things belt out quite the rock ‘n roll ruckus following in the footsteps of the Rolling Stones, solo Keith Richards, Johnny Thunders, and Izzy Stradlin & The Ju Ju Hounds. The A side sounds a bit like Izzy jammin’ with the Quireboys and early Black Crowes with some killer slide guitars, Jerry-Lee piano, Thunders riffs and great backing vocals. And the flip includes an equally impressive riff ‘n roll swinger called ‘Cocaine Asslicker Blues’ that sounds like it could have been written in the neighboring stall at your nearest scummy dive bar. Gritty, sleazy pop fueled rock ‘n roll from this new band of rock ‘n roll vagabonds. If you love trashy rock n' roll with swagger and soul, it doesn’t get much better than this. Recommended.

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
