Like the self-explanatory “Too Broke to Go Out” and “Whiplash,” a timeless song that could have just as likely come out by The Sonics in the ‘60s and they back it with a few bad ass ‘80s era Joan Jett sounding stomperss. When it comes to singers Charlene McPherson is a phenomenal one with an outraged, wounded wail that doesn’t come around very often. Ten solid tracks on this album. Fun listen.
