Solid Waste- S/T CD.  On this release you get 26 studio tracks that were all recorded in 1977 at the famous Spaceward Studio in Cambridge where the Killjoys recorded.  Speaking of The Killjoys, Solid Waste even played out alot with them at the Music Machine back in the day. Solid Waste hailed from Chelmsford in Essex and were just like any other bunch of bored kids in the mid 70s They had the usual the strikes against them like poverty, a dislike for the establishment and the hatred of the dire heavy Rock that was on the radio at the time. Basically the perfect recipe to start a punk band in the late 70’s. So when the Sex Pistols were making ripples in the clubs they saw their chance to rebel and be part of the fun. Like most of these smaller bands in 1977, their star burnt bright for a short time and then it went out! Solid Waste sounds like a cross between The Killjoys, Slaughter And The Dogs and Menace. This nice looking retrospective also includes the 2 songs from a proposed 7” that never saw the light of day.  Import from the UK.

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
