Satanic Overlords Of Rock ‘n’ Roll- S/T LP.  Hailing from Houston Texas, the Satanic Overlords of Rock ‘n’ Roll have arrived to unleash their debut album and to apparently let us know that the soundtrack to hell is filled with punk 'n roll anthems with plenty of guitar solos and savage hooks. Several bands come to mind while enjoying this album as their sound is based in some of my personal punk 'n roll faves like the Hellacopters, Electric Frankenstein, Turbonegro and Gluecifer.  But they go deeper than that by also adding touches of 70’s hard rock bands like Blue Cheer, Black Sabbath, the MC5 and ZZ Top all played with a brut New Wave Of British Heavy Metal guitar fury.  This is Rock n Fuckin' Roll Texas style baby played by a band with a pretty impeccable pedigree including ex members of the Born Liars, Hell City Kings and Donkey Punch..  Recommended.  Import from Canada.
