Mongoloid- Slug Boy 7”.  Killer PDX-punk band that includes Lumpy's big brother. The lineup comes out guns blazing with an ex-Sweet Tooth member on guitar and an ex-Pigsticker on vox. These guys belt out four songs of aggroness that sound like early Black Flag interpreted through a modern Clevo-HC filter. Certainly some Erba fuck-you moves (Fuck You Pay Me, 9 Shocks Terror, Cheap Tragedies) are at work here, with quality riffs backed up with great soloing including a rather clean yet ballsy guitar tone that keeps it from becoming a mundane hardcore rehash. I like the recording on this one as well, as there’s a good separation of instruments in the mix that really packs a punch and the vox are pretty throaty and tuff. "Slug Boy" and "At The Moment Of Death" should give you an idea where these guys are coming from as they belt it out tough and mean. Cool looking screen printed covers on these as well and includes a two-sided lyrics sheet insert.

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
