Jack O & The Tennessee Tearjerkers - The Disco Outlaw LP. Jack Oblivion has developed a cult following exploiting everything that makes Rock and Roll great and dishes it with raw enthusiastic ineptitude exploring punk, lo-fi blues, distorto pop, rot-gut soul and fuzz-drenched twang on ‘The Disco Outlaw’. His story started back in the `90s as a member of the Compulsive Gamblers and The Oblivians, but Jack has honed his craft on five solo records since. He clearly knows his way around a catchy chorus, a memorable melody, and a mean guitar lick because in the end ‘The Disco Outlaw’ succeeds in it’s catchy, simplicity and exquisite lack of bullshit. Because regardless of recording style or subgenre great Rock ‘n Roll just always finds a way to shine through.
