Happy Times- Gross Registrable Tonnage 7".  Exceedingly pleasant debut EP by a new Brisbane quartet, who seem very interested in German underwater warfare of the 20th Century.  Their Aussie sound is more akin to Birdman/New Race-era groups than to their contemporary blokes which is fine by me.  ‘Gross Registrable Tonnage’ fires with four songs of scuzzy, ragged Rock ‘n Roll.  Two guitars run rampant all over each track like propeller-less Zeppelins exposed to a naked flame.  This is a sonic, lo-fi adventure and the drums pound like depth charges. One song is called “Chiko Roll” and it’s a corker. THIS IS THE LIMITED VERSION OF THIS 7" ON GREEN MARBLE WAX LIMITED TO 100 COPIES AND THE INNER SLEEVE INCLUDES COMIC STRIP ARTWORK BY JONNY POWELL!  Import from Australia on Swashbuckling Hobo Records.

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
