Frustrations- Glowing Red Pill LP.  What a fantastic noisy mess of gangly rock n roll here. Glowing Red Pills is a frenzied mash up of descending guitar riffs that doesn't ever stop. It only interrupts itself for the occasional off-time note bending, frenzied wah wah wash and visceral pick slides that sound pretty damn cool. The monochromatic, detached lead vocals reveal a sedated staccato that would’ve given a young Richard Hell wood. Throw in a dash of the Midwest avante rock vibes of bands like Human Eye, Tyvek, the Electric Eels and Rocket From The Tomes with No Wave nods, and nearly indecipherable lyrics that are as unsettling as that merciless and doomed neighborhood kid who plucks wings offa mayflies. Its no surprise that Matt Smith and Timmy Vulgar (Clone Defects, Human Eye) are raving about these Royal Oak dudes. Totally killer full length of wacked out Midwest rock ‘n roll played with a gritty, sheen of now. Recommended!

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
