Even In Blackouts- Romantico LP.  After Screeching Weasel broke up 2002, founding member John “Jughead” Pierson formed Even In Blackouts to continue his musical persuits. The band's name was inspired by the fact that they could perform without electricity. John and vocalist Lizzie Eldredge presided over a few different line-ups before before going on hiatus in 2009. After a ten year break Even In Blackouts are back with ‘Romantico’, a passionate, fast paced, humorous, sad, and joyous look at their lives over the last decade. What sets ‘Romantico’ apart from their eariler releases is that things have been noticeably turned up. While styled as a very dynamic, acoustic-based LP, there’s a lot of full band rock here with loud, fuzzed-out guitars and plenty of hard drum bashing. Import from the Netherlands.

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
