Electric Ferrets- Psychedelic Punk Rock Band 2x LP ~GATEFOLD COVER WITH POSTER, COMIC BOOK AND GREEN LP + PURPLE LP!
Electric Ferrets- Psychedelic Punk Rock Band 2x LP. I pulled the new Electric Ferrets ‘Psychedelic Punk Rock Band’ 2x LP outta the box and the first thing that stands out about this bad boy is the incredible looking artwork. First of all the cover art is amazing and when you open up the GATEFOLD COVER you’re treated to two more panels of very cool looking artwork. So right off the bad you get the sense that this is a concept album that the Electric Ferrets put a lot of time into developing. With the cover collage showing Kiss, the Beatles, Jimi Hendrix and the Ramones and the albums cover imagery / title that shows more than a slight resemblance to The Beatles- Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club; they cover a lot of ground on this new record. And when you slide the two LP’s out of each Gatefold panel inside is an Electric Ferrets poster with artwork by Henry Vogel and a real-live comic book with artwork by Jeremy Eaton. This 24 track magnum opus traverses across a landscape of tales from a variety of fringes incorporating the band’s early garage days, mid-life punk chaos days, and their ever maturing (though never adult...) rock ‘n roll style that they’ve drifted into since their beginnings in the early 90's. A concept record fully realized all the way down to the colored vinyl on each record. The first LP is on OPAQUE GREEN wax and the second LP is pressed on OPAQUE PURPLE colored wax. Worth it for the packaging alone with some mighty rockin’ tunes to back it up. Recommended.

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!
Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
