Dulac- First Of The Last Chords LP.  When a band puts out their debut record and it's just a beast from start to finish, that's a hell of an accomplishment and Dulac deserves the accolades. Dulac are definately taking influences from the revolution-summer era of hardcore, namely classic DC area bands like Rites Of Spring, Swiz and Embrace who emodied melody and power with a message. They're playing an upbeat, treble heavy style of melodic punk rock. In particular, the guitar sound and riffs remind me a little of Swiz and Embrace, but a bit more explosive and there’s definatley a slightly darker and more serious tone to some of the songs that brings to mind Red Dons. The vocals are a little harder to pin down. Aspects of them remind me of some of the bands on Snuffy Smiles out of Japan like Broccoli, The Urchin and Navel, while other songs I get a really strong Starmarket feel. On ‘First Of The Last Chords’ Dulac belt out 10 new emotionally charged HC songs with an undeniable power and a style all of their own. It's a fantastic record from start to finish. Import from France.

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
