Breaker Breaker- Wreckin' Machine LP.  More than anything else, what Breaker Breaker’s debut album ‘Wreckin' Machine’ makes me think of is the glam-metal forerunners Hanoi Rocks. Like those guys, Breaker Breaker ride the line between New York Dolls/Berlin Brats -style punk and flat-out sleazy, girls ‘n blow early 80’s Sunset-Strip infected metallic Rock ‘n Roll. Namely bands like Guns N' Roses, early Mötley Crüe, W.A.S.P. and L.A. Guns. They’re not afraid to flex their Metal muscle and they’re definitely pullin' from the best aspects of those bands. And at the core these guys just play good old fashioned Rock ‘n Roll with ear shreddin' guitars solos and catchy choruses boasting sex, drugs, and rock & roll with a ton of machismo. And most importantly this record is just a helluva lotta fun to listen to. The LP includes a two sided full color insert with band photos and a lyrics sheet. And this Portland based band includes members of P.R.O.B.L.E.M.S., Full Frontal Assault and The All Nighters. Recommended.

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
