On ‘Meet Your Maker’, I’m hearing a less lo-fi, harder-edged, and more ferocious-sounding Battlebeats. Elements of action rock, high octane '90s rock ‘n roll, and blood & guts American punk rock have been injected into the mix, but overall this is still garage punk at its absolute finest. Like their earlier releases, there is still the speed and precision of Teengenerate with the power of Guitar Wolf throughout these dozen tracks, but the formula is expanded as the Battlebeats sound continues to evolve.
