V/A- Marshmallow Generation LP.  This compilation contains a bunch of bands from Ontario, Canada. Compilations are great ways to hear a lot bands at once, but usually sink or swim based on which bands make the cut. There’s some serious quality control at It’s Trash Records as this one swims all the way through. On Marshmallow Generation the line up includes new songs from Terminal Licks, Zex, First Base, Strange Attractor, Foam, Pre Noids, Heart Attack Kids, Chloroform, Noble Savages, Familiar Fiends, BSHC, Exlecior, Battlewulf, and Paul Jacobs. The comp. expores all different facets of punk and rock n roll includeing bands playing ’77 punk, ragged rock n’ roll, street punk, power-pop and garage rock. Terminal Licks, First Base and Zex contribut the biggest standout tracks, but overall each band really holds their own. 500 pressed.  Canadian import.

The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
