Torcha Shed / Neon Maniacs - Split 7”.  The UK’s Torcha Shed, who contain members of Stench, kick things off with “Meet Me In The George Bar”. The song starts off promising with a warbly siren of guitars veering into a bunch of pub noise and than into a straight up catchy mid tempo pub rock hit. It’s a quality beer clangin’ pub rock anthem in the vein of pint-charged champions like Cock Sparrer and the Partisans. On the flip, The Neon Maniacs lead singer kinda sounds like the lead singer of the Parasites. For a pop punk band like the Parasites, the vocals match the subject matter. But for a gnarly punk band that’s not singing about love and relationships, the vocals really stand out with the subject matter about zombies and a snarky chorus singing “They’re going to eat you”. The Neon Maniacs amped up song writing is on point and they definatley make it work.

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
