Spells- At Sea 7”. Spells have a super catch party rock vibe that in places sound like a more garage-y Rocket From The Crypt. Much like Speedo and the gang, Spells share the same penchant for writing super catchy songs with somewhat of an attitude to them. Loud guitars, catchy hooks, driving drums are all of the ingredients I like in a band are they’re all here. Spells are really tight and show a ton of promise for a group with just a handful of singles under their belt so far. Definately a band to keep an eye on.
