Raydios- Now LP. Fink from Teengenerate seems to have a band for every speed. Twenty-one years of The Raydios and it’s hard to tell an early single from their new album, which is a good thing. Less raw and trashy than Teengenerate, but not quite as poppy as Firestarter, the Raydios sound like the middle ground between the two. This is their 2nd album, coming about 10 years after their debut LP on Screaming Apple and it definately lives up to Finks standards. The Raydios trade the Teengenerate fuzz for furious, manic riffs. “Now” rails at Registrators speed while ocassionally slowing down enough to throw in a few catchy harmonies here and there. It's been remastered for vinyl and remixed by Fink himself, and sounds GREAT. If you’re into Finks other bands, the Raydios still have it.
