Originally conceived of as a series of 3 singles, the band and label at one point realized that the songs worked better as an LP and that album is ‘Living With Secrets ‘ This record represents another definite step forward for Bad Sports. Moving away from both the brawny punk/power pop of ‘Kings Of The Weekend’ and the anything-goes grimy punk of ‘Bras’, this LP shows the band at their darkest and most powerful. The tone is turbulent, the lyrics are bleak and desperate, but the music is more dangerously catchy than ever. This is their strongest material to date and you should expect nothing less from a band that contains ex members of Video, the Wax Museums, A Giant Dog and OBN III’s.
