Fantastic Dee Jays- Fight Fire 7”. This is a nice reissue of this classic 60s garage punk gem by Pittsburgh’s the Fantastic Dee Jays who include Dick Newton of the Swamp Rats. The Fantastic Dee Jays were formed in the mid 60’s and were previously know as The Larks prior to being managed by WMCK radio personality Terry Lee who suggested that the band change their name to the Fantastic Dee Jays! This 7” includes "Fight Fire", a great cover of the pre-Creedence GOLLIWOGS song along with "Get Away Girl" an ace moody garage punker. A quality reissue of this hard to find 7” that originally came out in 1966 on Tri Power Records and the reissue also includes a snazzy set of jukebox labels.
