Blood Pressure- Need To Control LP.  Debut LP here from this new Pittsburgh band featuring Eric from Government Warning on guitar. There’s a creepy psychotic reaper on the cover and he must be the harbinger of the punchy, rapid-fire hardcore that is Blood Pressure’s MO. Their music is indebted to no region in particular, stomping through New York, Boston and Detroit circa 1982 with brief layovers in the UK and Sweden for good measure. These songs are complex but never overbearing, and the only guitar solo arrives as a hive of noise while the vocalist repeats “you’re full of shit” (and I for one can’t help but believe his sincerity there). Blood Pressure really stepped their game up here, as Need To Control works not only as a filler-free hardcore LP, but it’s a distillation of hardcore’s most infallible sounds. Nice looking full color cover art by Matt Bellosi and includes a pull out 11” x 17” poster with lyrics. Highly Recommended.

The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs- One More Drink LP ~RAINBOW SPLATTER SPECIAL EDITION LIMITED TO 100!

Los Angeles' the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs spew a raw, undistilled slab of sweet ‘n nasty sonic tonic on their 7th studio album 'One More Drink'. The Cheetahs reignite the raw Detroit sounds of the the Stooges and fellow down under countrymen Radio Birdman blasting through 11 red-hot tracks of over-amplified nihilism showing even further dexterity in the world of thick riffs and song writing versatility. ‘One More Drink’ sounds like the good kind of mid 70’s pre-punk Riff 'n Roll record hopped-up on a heavy dose of classic 80's, white lightnin’ radio Rock. They mix an absolutely perfect Rock 'n Roll cocktail here...
